Nandini Milk to cost dearer by Rs 3 from Thursday, April 8

Bangalore, April 7: The prices of all varieties of milk sold by KMF will go up by Rs 3 a litre across the State from Thursday.

 At present the prices of different varieties of milk range from Rs 16 to 22 a litre, according to KMF Chairman Somashekar Reddy.

 

 

Addressing a press conference, Reddy said the last price revision was in 2007. The increased price will help farmers. Farmers will get about Rs 2.50 more per litre.

Sources in the KMF said that the prices of milk products including curd and butter milk will go up. But Reddy did not disclose the revised rates of milk products.
