Nalin refuses to accept Brahmashree Award ; says only Janardhana Poojary is fit for this honour

Mangaluru, Mar 01, 2021:       Dakshina Kannada MP  and State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel, on February 28, Sunday refused to accept the Brahmashree Award  which the Ullal Brahmashree Billawa Vedike  had planned to confer on him.

 

 

 

 

Speaking after inaugurating the Merugu 2021 dance contest and various other programmes organised by the organisation at Ullal on Sunday, the MP said  the only person who is eligible for such an award is Janardhana Poojary   who is known for   his  transparent and corruption free career  in politics.

 Later  speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Amin Sankamar, Director of Mangaluru University Chair  on Narayana Guru said  as Nalin  was not interested in accepting the award, he will only be felicitated.

Later the MP was felicitated on the occasion.
