NRI entrepreneur commits suicide in Shirva

Udupi, Oct 12, 2021: A man from Nekkare in Shirva who was a software entrepreneur in Saudi Arabia, has  allegedly committed suicide  on October 11, Monday evening by jumping into a well of his house.

 

The deceased is Simon D’Souza (57). He was an entrepreneur in Saudi Arabia since 25 years and  was also active locally as a member of the Pambur Manasa Rehabilitation Centre Administrative Committee and  that of Arogya Raksha Committee of Shirva Community Health Centre.

The reason behind his suicide is not known.
