NOC for Kabaddi Indoor Stadium on Karavali Grounds to be withdrawn: Minister Rahim Khan

Mangaluru, Feb 06, 2019 : Karnataka Minister Rahim Khan visited the Karavali Exhibition Ground along with officials and collected information from the officials and later spoke at the meeting. After visiting the Mangala Stadium Minister Khan informed that a pavilion and other necessary infrastructure will be constructed at Mangala stadium at the cost of Rs 3 crore.

A review meeting will be conducted shortly at the DK DCs office with the aim to solve the problems regarding the Kabaddi indoor stadium and other issues, assured the state minister for sports and youth Affairs Rahim Khan after visiting the Mangala Stadium in the city on Feb 5,  Tuesday.

Owing to the importance gained by ‘Kabaddi; game and the demand to construct an indoor Kabaddi stadium in the city, the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) has planned to construct an indoor Kabaddi stadium at the Karavali Exhibition Ground which only invited stiff opposition from the Mangaluru Citizen Group and Karavali Cricket Friends  associations.
