NMPT Chief Auditor dies in tragic road mishap

 Bantwal, Mar 25, 2014:  In a tragic road mishap, CH Lakshminarayana Bhat (59), Chief Auditor of NMPT lost his life when his Maruti 800 car rolled into a gorge at Padekallu in Karopady village on March 24, Monday morning.

The accident took place when Bhat who had visited his ancestral home at Padekallu  on March 22, was returning to Mangalore on Monday morning. The car met with an accident just a little away from his home. It is learnt, it rolled off the mud road and fell into the gorge. A domestic help Krishna who noticed the car, immediately informed others, but Bhat had breathed his last by then.

 A case has been registered.
