NCC cadets organize anti - tobacco rally in city

Mangalore, May 31: The 18 Karnataka Battalion of Pandeshwar and the NCC Cadets of Canara High Main and Canara High School Urwa organized a rally in observance of No Tobacco Day on May 31, Tuesday.

A drawing contest on the theme “tobacco kills” was held for NCC cadets just before the rally. Around 50 NCC cadets from 2 schools participated in the rally to create awareness on the evil effects of tobacco. The rally commenced at Canara High School Main to Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) through PVS Circle. 

Officials such as Vijay Singh, Madan Singh, Monappa G. from 18 Karnataka Battalion Pandeshwar, and NCC in-charge at Canara School Main Ramanand K. V. guided the cadets.
