Mystery shrouds death of woman in Kundapur lodge

Kundapur, Apr 16, 2015: A middle aged woman  has been found dead in a lodge near Shastri Circle here on April 15, Wednesday.

 

Though  the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, it has been gathered that she had accompanied a person identified as Azhar Fazal Khan (32)  who had booked a room in the lodge nearly ten days ago.

Sources said Azhar who had arrived at the lodge with the woman  had informed the receptionist that the woman  was his mother. Her name has been not registered in the hotel records.

On Wednesday evening, the door of their room was found open and the woman was found unconscious on the floor by a room boy.  Soon the lodge staff were informed and the lady rushed to the government hospital where doctors informed that she had breathed her last.

Azhar is missing and has taken away all his   belongings.

Kundapur police  who are investigating the case have begun a search for Azhar who is suspected to have killed the woman aged around 60 years.
