Mysteriously missing Belthangady youth traced in Mumbai

Belthangady, Mar 11, 2015: There is a happy ending to the case of mysterious missing of a Belthangady youth from the Mumbai Airport on February 22. The youth Safwan (25) from Karpady, Puttila has been traced in Mumbai.

It has been gathered that Safwan who had left the airport on February 22 had visited several railway stations in Maharashtra and returned to Mumbai where he was spotted  by some people of Maddadka who resided in Mumbai. They in fact had seen his photo on social sites after news of his going missing went viral.They immediately contacted the youth’s family and even informed the police.

Safwan’s family members are already in Mumbai  and are likely to bring him back to Belthangady.

As already reported, Safwan who  worked in Riyadh had landed in Mumbai on February 22 but went missing the same day though he was supposed to take a connecting flight to Mangaluru. CCTV footages showed him moving out of the  airport towards the auto stand with just a hand bag. His family later took possession of his baggages which he had left at the airport.

Safwan’s father Aboobakker was shot dead in Riyadh in October last year by some unidentified men and the incident had been great shock to Safwan who had returned hometown as  requested by his mother.
