Muslim Jamaath hosts all-religion gathering ’Sauharda Samagama’

He was presiding  over the  Sauharda Samagama programme organised at Ocean Pearl on October 2, Wednesday under the aegis of DK District Committee of Karnataka Muslim Jamaath. Abdulla Kunhi further said education can bring peace to the society and added that the society can progress only when there is harmony.

Sri Esha Vittaladasa Swamiji of Kemar Mutt who also spoke said  good thoughts are a must to bring about a change in the society. Small efforts in this regard are most welcome, he said adding that helping the needy should be the objective of all religions.

Rev. Fr Ravi Santosh Kumar  S J, stressed the need for people of all religions to live in peace and harmony.

Maulana Shafi, General Secretary of Karnataka Muslim Jamaath said there is a need for the society to shun the wrong notion regarding Islam.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath, former MLA J R Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza,  former mayor Bhasker K, Builders K C Naik, Arshad Mohtisham,  Buntara yane Nadavara Sangha President Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi and others were present.
