Murder attempt on elderly man: Accused arrested

Bantwal, July 05, 2018:  Police have arrested one person in connection with the attempt made on the life of a person named Kanthappa at Baltila village on July 3, Tuesday evening. The arrest was made on the basis of the complaint by  the victim’s daughter  Chandraprabha.

As per the complainant, an acquaintance named Yathiraj along with three others had attacked her father with lethal weapons. They also targeted her when she tied to protect her father, resulting in injuries on her head and legs.

The arrested person is identified as Yathiraj, a resident of the same village.
