Murder accused attacked in Vamanjoor

Mangalore, Sep 24, 2014:  A person who was accused of murder was attacked by the son of the victim at Vamanjoor Check Post here on Wednesday, September 24.The injured person identified as Santhosh Kottari (31) has been rushed to the hospital.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Santhosh Kottari is accused in Vamanjoor Rohi murder case.He is the brother of local unit BJP General Secretary Rajesh Kottari, while the accused identified as Pawan (20) is said to be the  son of notorious rowdy Vamanjoor Rohi. According to victim, who is recuperating at a hospital here with head and neck injuries, Pavan, Arif and Asif had attacked him with a small knife used in the cock fights.

Rohi was notorious rowdy, who was facing a trail in Nagesh Poojary murder case. He was murdered at Jyotinagar, Vamanjoor on July 5, 2009. Police said Santosh had gone to get parcel for afternoon lunch and the trio who were waiting for him had attacked him.
