Munnur PDO ends life in toilet of Gram Panchayat office

Mangaluru, June 13, 2018: The Panchayat Development Officer of Munnur Gram Panchayat in Ullal  has reportedly committed suicide by hanging  himself at the toilet of the Gram Panchayat Office on June 13, Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Krishnaswamy (47).  The PDO who was an ex-serviceman has  left behind a death note before taking the extreme step.  Krishnaswamy who was reportedly an alcoholic  was residing at  Kulai with his family. His wife is a teacher.

 Ullal Police have registered a case.
