Mundli-Karkala road partially collapses due to landslip

Karkala, July 21, 2014:  Traffic  on the Mundli-Karkala road has been affected since July 20, Sunday morning  due to landslide beneath the road. It is believed that the  Mundli dam which is flowing above danger mark  is the reason behind the landslide  that has brought in fears of the collapse of the road.

 

The road is likely to remain closed for traffic for another  week when repair works would be taken up.

Yogeshwar, Assistant Commissioner,  Sunil Kumar, local MLA, Rayappa, Chief Officer of TMC and others visited the spot.
