Mulki mishap : Critically injured Rakesh succumbs

Mangalore, May 29, 2014 :   Bike rider Rakesh Shettigar who was critically injured in the gory mishap reported from Kolnad in Mulki on May 28, Wednesday evening, has succumbed in the hospital on May 29, Thursday noon.

As fate would have it, the youth  who was just 18, died on his birthday.

It may be recalled here that Anish Shetty (18), son of   former Mulki TP Chief Shashikanth Shetty had died in the accident involving  a bike and a  car.

 

Rakesh who died on Thursday was the eldest of the three children of Pushpa and Anand Shettigar of Kolnad. Anand resides in Mumbai. Rakesh is survived  by his twin siblings, a boy and a girl.
