Mulki: Students strike continues for second day at Vijaya College

Mulki, June 17, 2015: Vijaya college students continued their strike for the second against the college administration on June 17. The students had staged protest against the college administration on June 16th and demanded the transfer of Physical Trainer and other teachers.

The students alleged that the teachers abused and pressurized the students to donate money for the new conference hall building.

The students strongly protested against the college administration that the police were called to control the situation.Angered over the visit of police, the students continued their protest for the second day on June 17.

The student leader said "The college administration is forcing us to ask for the donation from others for the construction of the hall which will be used for the wedding receptions, the rent of the hall will be given to the poor students to provide free education.

He also said" the college administration is more interested in organising the wedding events rather than providing quality education".

The protest then came to end when the teachers said that the college administration will disuss the matter with Students of June 18.
