Mrs. India Dubai 2017 to host Miss & Mrs Mangaluru 2018 Pageants

Mangaluru, August 26, 2018: Rego Events Private Ltd., is organising Miss & Mrs. Mangaluru, an exclusive pageant that will open a whole new world of opportunities to the talented women of Mangaluru.

Announcing this at a press meet held at the Mangalore Press Club on Friday, the event organizer Joyce Rego said the auditions for the pageant will begin in the second week of September 2018 at The Gateway Hotel, Mangaluru and the registration will done at the venue on the same day. After the auditions, 25 ‘Miss’ contestants and 25 ‘Mrs’ contestants will be selected as the finalists. They will be required to participate in a series of competitive events/assignments culminating with the grand finale on 22 December 2018 at The Gateway Hotel, Mangaluru.

The contest is open to all residents of Mangaluru. Mangaloreans settled elsewhere are also welcome to participate. The assignments which the contestants have to face will be revealed in stages as and when the contestants get finalized. Age category for Miss Mangaluru is 18-30 and for Mrs. Mangaluru is 18-45. 

“Mrs. India Queen of Substance Karnataka will be hosted in a franchise arrangement with ’Mrs INDIA Earth’ pageant which is the national pride and treasure of India. Mrs INDIA Earth holds a yearly event for Indian women and the national Directors are Ritika Vinay and Vinay Yadawa. We will be starting Mrs. India Queen of Substance - Karnataka from 2019 on a state level and the winners will get a chance to participate in the national level platform and the national level winners will participate in the international level,” Joyce Rego said.

“We want focus on the entire idea of womanhood and motherhood, while giving expression to the unique talents of women,” she added.
 
Miss & Mrs. Mangaluru is presented by Rego Events Private Ltd, to support Rejoyce Mustard Garden, a website dedicated to helping in the education of underprivileged children.

Joyce Rego, the event organizer, is a Mrs. India Earth (finalist) from Mangaluru and has bagged the title of Mrs. India Dubai 2017. She is employed with the Government of UAE since 10 years and is the mother of two children.

Dr. Asha Jyothi Rai (President, Buntara Yane Nadavara Matr Sangha Women’s Wing and President, Aasare Charitable Trust); Mrs. Keethana Kumar (Founder, Riya Foundation); Mr. Srinivas Nayak Indaje (President, Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists Union) and Mr. Brijesh Ullal (Event Co-ordinator) were also present at the press meet.
