Movie ’Padmavati’ should be banned, says Togadia

Mangaluru, Nov 24, 2017: Pravin Togadia, international working president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), said on Nov 23, Thursday that the Hindi film Padmavati should be banned.

He was speaking to media at the Mangaluru International Airport on his way to Udupi to participate in the three-day Dharma Sansad, which begins today, Nov 24, Friday.

However, he did not make any more comments on the controversy.

He said the Sansad would deliberate on constructing a Ram mandir at Ayodhya, cow protection law, removal of untouchability, and the VHP’s plan to free farmers of debt.
