Moodbidri : Woman found hanging ; murder suspected

Moodbidri, Sep 26, 2017:  In a case of suspected murder, the  body of a 60 year old woman  was found hanging from a tree in a bushy area   at Padukonaje on September 26, Tuesday. The deceased woman has been identified as Gangu Poojarthi.

She was earlier reported missing since Monday evening.

 

A frantic search by her family members and locals  resulted in the tracing of her body.  The hands of the woman were found tied in the back.

The body has been sent for post-mortem. Further investigations are in progress.
