Moodbidri : Puttaswamy challenges CM for open debate

Moodbidri, Oct 16 2017:   B J Puttaswamy, President of the Backward Classes Morcha of State BJP and former minister who is in the news of late after accusing  Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of resorting to illegal denotification of land, has challenged chief minister  to come for an open debate in front of the Vidhana Saudha. "If I am proved  wrong  I am ready to hang myself in front of the Vidhana Saudha. Will the Chief Minister quit if he is proved wrong ?," questioned Puttaswamy while addressing a convention of backward classes organised at the Padmavathi Kala Mandir here on October 15.

He accused the Chief Minister of  using the rice supplied by the Centre for Rs 3 per kg  and distributing it  as part of its Anna Bhagya scheme.

He also pointed out  that there has been  6,521 murders and  19,000 rape cases  apart from 5700 cases of child abuse.  He also  alleged that most victims were from backward classes.

Siddaramaiah will not win either from his home turf Varuna or Chamundeshwari, said Puttaswami.
