Moodbidri: Man who was missing, found dead. Younger brother suspected of murder

Moodbidri, Aug 18 2018: A man was found dead near Maravoor on Friday the August 17. The dead man was found out to be Sudarshan Jain, who was 28 years old.

 

Sudarshan had gone missing on August 11 after he left his shop, with his younger brother Sudhir on his bike. It is discovered that Sudarshan and his brother had reached near their house in Hosabettu while Sudhir’s friend Sandeep and two others were waiting in the car. It is believed that Sudhir and three of his partners had abducted Sudarshan and murdered him. They then dumped his body in Phalguni River. On Friday, Sudarshan’s body was found with neck and chest injury marks by his mother.

Sudarshan’s mother had sold 2.7 acres of land for Rs 27 Lakhs and had received Rs 6 Lakhs in advance for it. Sudhir had received Rs 3 Lakhs and he harassed his brother Sudarshan to give him his share of Rs 3 Lakhs.

It is suspected that Sudhir might have planned and murdered his brother with the help from his friends. This case is currently being investigated by the Moddbidri police.
