Moodbidri : Gang attacks 2 members of a Band group at Handelu

Mangaluru, Sep 20,2015 :  Two members of a Band group who  were returning to Moodbidri from Mangaluru after attending a Ganeshotsava programme at Kulshekhar on Saturday, were  attacked  by a gang of six persons with lethal weapons  on September 20, Sunday at Handelu in Puttige village.

 The victims namely  Ashok (30) and Vasu Acharya (32) who  have sustained serious injuries have been hospitalised. The assailants had come on three bikes.

Sources said the assailants had followed the two men  and had intercepted them near Handelu in Puttige village.
Locals later assisted in shifting the two to hospital. Moodbidri police are conducting the investigations.
