Mangaluru: September 9, 2015: The police have registered a case against two persons for trying to rape a woman over an alleged property dispute in Marpady Village in Moodabidri.

According to the source, the two persons named Santhosh and Suresh barged into the house of Dinesh Poojary and used abusive language against his wife. They pulled her saree and tried to rape her, and even threatened them to kill with Acid.

It is learnt that the two families were having a dispute regarding a land. A case has been registered at Moodabidri Police Station.
