Mangalore, Apri 30, 2012: ‘Canopy’ and ‘Amity’, the two new projects of Mohtisham, a well-known Builders and Promoters were inaugurated on April 29, Sunday.
Maulana Saleem, Principal, Iqra Arabic College, and Father Ravi Santhosh Kamath of Fathima Retreat House blessed the new projects. Zimbabwe cricket team lead by former captain Heath Streak and Karnataka cricket team lead by captain Janardhan were present on the occasion.
A coin was tossed to choose among the Zimbabwe and Karnataka team to launch the project. Zimbabwe team won the toss and launched the project. Heath Streak launched ‘Canopy’ and ‘Amity’ projects and the brochures of the projects were released.
Deputy speaker N Yogesh Bhat, former minister Krishna J Palemar, MLA K Abhaya Chandra Jain, MLC captain Ganesh Karnik, former minister RV Deshpande, former minister Amarnath Shetty, MUDA president S Ramesh, KSM Masood, KPCC secretary Ivon D’Souza, president of BJP Mangalore South constituency unit Srikar Prabhu, former Mayor M Shashidhar Hegde, Commissioner of Police Seemanth Kumar Singh were present on the occasion.
Executive Director, Mohtisham complexes, Mr. SM Sahood welcomed the gathering, Managing Director, Mr. SM Arshad and CEO, Mr. Dharmaraj were present. General Manager (Planing and Development) Gopalakrishnan introduced the project details.
‘Canopy’ project consists of 19 floors building with 244 flats, offering club house, mini theatre, wi-fi facility, student activity room, tennis and badminton court, basket ball, skating rink, sky watch gallery with telescope, children play ground etc. The project has all modern amenities and facilities.
