Mobile shop employee waylaid ; robbed of cash, gold

Kundapur, Oct 14, 2016 :  A mobile service shop employee  who was on way home in his car after closing the shop,   has been attacked and  robbed of his cash and gold by a gang of thieves  which intercepted the car at Sangam area in the outskirts of Kundapur on October 13. The victim, Sudhir Achar has been admitted to the hospital.

The incident occurred at around 9.30 pm. The thieves had blocked the road by placing boulders. As soon as Sudhir alighted from the car, he was  reportedly made to  lie down on the road after which he was attacked. It has been gathered that he was robbed of Rs 26,000 and a gold chain.

Locals who heard the screams of Sudhir  rushed to the place  and  admitted him to the hospital.
