Missing youth from Suratkal found murdered at Baikampady

Mangalore, Feb 20, 2013: Sandeep Poojari (28), hailing from Idya near Suratkal who was reported missing since February 15, has been found dead at Meenakaliya, Baikampady on February 19, Tuesday. The decomposed body was found stuffed inside a bag on the sea shore with hands and legs tied.

The abandoned bag which was emanating foul smell, attracted the attention of locals who informed the police. There is a suspicion on five men from Suratkal area who have been at large since Sandeep went missing. It is suspected that some gang rivalry led to the murder  as Sandeep  who had his own gang was involved in some assault cases.

Investigations are in progress.
