Missing young man found dead in Netravathi

Mangalore, May 1, 2014: A young man  working at Lifestyle Stores at City Centre Mall who was reported missing since April 29, Tuesday has been found dead. His body was found floating in the Netravathi River at Uliya on May 1, Thursday.

The deceased is Junaid Sheikh (20), a resident of Jeppu. According to sources, Junaid had last called the mobile phone of his cousin named Suhail on Tuesday night at around 7 pm asking him to take his ATM card kept at a shop at Morgansgate and draw his salary to be given to his mother.

The exact cause of his death is not known. Though some say it is a suicide, his parents are unsure but say Junaid was with his friends when he was last seen.

Ullal police have registered a case.
