Missing Bengaluru boy found dead in lake at Guruvayanakere

Belthangady , July 26, 2018: The body of 15 year old Yashwanth Sai  from Bengaluru has been found  in a lake at Guruvayanakere on July 26, Thursday.

 

The deceased boy was the son of Prem Kumar, a resident of Muniswami Katte Layout in Bengaluru. The boy was reported missing since Tuesday morning. A complaint was also lodged in this regard at a station in Bengaluru.

On Wednesday, a school bag was found near Guruvayanakere  and on inspection it came to light that it belonged to Yashwanth. Tickets of  travel from Bengaluru to Mangaluru and from Belthangady to Karkala were found in the bag.   Though a search commenced on Wednesday itself it proved a futile exercise due to the high level of water.

The body was  traced when search resumed on Thursday. Belthangady Police are investigating the case.
