Miscreants set ablaze a canteen, when asked to pay bill

Mangaluru, Jan 04, 2019: A group of persons set a canteen ablaze at Kapikad near Thokkottu   after the owner of the canteen asked them to pay for the meals they ate at the canteen on Thursday night.

The canteen belonging  to Abid of Ullal Halekote  was partially damaged in the fire. A complaint lodged with the police has named Kumpala resident Ravoof and a few others as the accused.

 It is said Ravoof and his team who had a wholesome meal at the canteen were about to leave without paying the bill. When the owner asked them to pay up, they were infuriated and set the canteen on fire.

Ullal Police are investigating the case.
