Miscreants pelt stones, damage Kumpala Mosque

Mangaluru,June 8, 2015: The incidents of Stone pelting at the worshiping place have increased alarmingly in the city in recent times. In a yet another incident, some unidentified miscreants have pelted stones at Kumpala Mosque on June 8.

 

 

 

It is learned that the miscreants damaged the window of the Mosque between 12.30 -4.00 am.

One of the resident near the mosque said, "This is the second time the miscreants have pelted stones at this mosque. During the Hindu Samajotsava on February 25, 2015 some miscreants had pelted stones.

 Though we lodged a complaint at Ullal police station, the police did not take any stringent action. If the police had arrested the culprits, this wouldn’t have happened again" .

The Ullal Police officials visited the spot and have assured of arresting the culprits soon.
A case has been registered.
