Miscreants make futile bid to set ablaze family

Mangaluru, Oct 29, 2016: An incident wherein  miscreants  tried to  kill a family by setting them ablaze after dousing petrol through the bedroom ventilator has been reported from Bastipadpu in Ullal Police Station limits.

 

Luckily for the presence of the house owner Taranath Yadav (58), his wife  Vidya (45) and son Mithun (10) have escaped unhurt. Taranath however has suffered burn injuries on both his hands.

It is suspected that  miscreants resorted to this act in retaliation to the  voice raised  by Taranath against some  ganja group in the area.
