Miscreants loot valuable worth 1.45 lakh from Shri Mahalasa Marikamba temple!

Byndoor: July 25, 2015: Unidentified miscreants barged into Shri Mahalasa Marikamba temple in Kalthodu and escaped with valuables worth 1.45 lakh on July 23.  The incident occurred during the wee hours of Thursday.

 

According to the sources, the thieves barged into temple breaking two doors and decamped with gold ring, gold chain and other valuables. The incident came to light when the priest of the temple arrived at the temple for the Morning Prayer.
The priest when saw the lock broken and valuables missing informed the police and the temple authority.

Byndoor circle inspector Sudarshan, SI Santhosh Kaykini visited the temple with the finger print experts and dog squad.

A case has been registered at Byndoor police station. The police are searching for the accused.
