Miscreants barge into illegal butchery; attack three, escape with cash

Mangaluru, June 25, 2017: In a shocking case, some miscreants barged into an unauthorised butchery operating from a house at Pajir near Konaje and fled the place after assaulting three persons and robbing nearly Rs 50,000. They have also damaged an autorickshaw and a car parked inside the compound of the house.

The injured persons namely Ishad, Mansoor and Salam have been admitted  to a hospital in Mangaluru. It has been gathered that the unauthorised butchery was  functioning in the house of a person identified as Joachim. Sources said   some people were slaughtering animals when the miscreants  entered the place.

Konaje police are investigating the case.
