Minister Ramanatha Rai to inaugurate AYUSH Habba-2015 at Pilikula tomorrow

Mangaluru, Dec 18, 2015: DK District in-charge Minister  B Ramanatha Rai will inaugurate  AYUSH  Habba-2015 at Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama on December 19, Saturday.

 

 

Informing this to reporters at the DC office here on December 18, Friday, Dr Asha Jyothi Rai, President of AYUSH Habba said the main objective of the  Habba was to  popularise the ancient system of medicine like Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.

She also stated that as many as 12 Ayush clinics  offering consultations  for patients suffering from neurological disorders, skin disorders, ENT problems, diabetes and hypertension will be set up at the camp.

Dr Devadas, District AYUSH Officer who also spoke, said the 25 bed Ayurveda Hospital set up at Lalbagh  has not yet started offering treatment to in-patients. Skin and gynaecology related problems are treated here, he added.

A.B. Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner, who also spoke, said free AYUSH   cards  will be  distributed to  visitors of AYUSH Habba and card holders are entitled for concessions at select Ayurveda hospitals.

The AYUSH cards will be launched by Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader.
