Minister Rai inaugurates State level Chess tourney at Aloysius School

Mangaluru, Oct 10, 2017 :  DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai  inaugurated a three day state level chess championship at the St Aloysius High School here on October 10, Tuesday. The event  is jointly organised by the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, Public Education Department and North Zone DDPI.

State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader was present as a chief guest. Fr Dionysius Vaz, Rector of St Aloysius institutions presided over the function. The games flag was hoisted by Mangaluru South MLA J R Lobo.

Six sports achievers of Aloysius institutions  were honoured on the occasion.
