Minister Khader inaugurates renovated Physiotherapy Centre, DEIC at Wenlock

Mangaluru, April 19, 2016 : State Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader inaugurated the  renovated Physiotherapy Centre and District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC)  at Government Wenlock Hospital on April 19, Tuesday.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Khader said he was pleased that  the Hospital has got a good physiotherapy centre with the help of Rotary Club which has donated physiotherapy equipment worth Rs 25 lakhs. He also stated that several  new facilities have been provided at the Hospital ever since the  Congress Government came to power and  highlighted the Peritoneal dialysis facility, dialysis centre and DOTS TB centre operative in the hospital.

The government wants to ensure that the poor get the best health care facility at the hospital, he added.A.B. Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner, Dr Rajeshwari Devi, District Medical Superintendent,   Dr.  M R Shetty, President of M V Shetty College, Dr Shantharam Shetty and  Myna Shetty, Chairman of Sri Devi Institute of Physiotherapy were present among others.

Rotary Club Mangaluru President Yathish Baikampady was felicitated at the function.
