Minister D K Shivakumar’s Kukke visit sans any VIP string

Sullia, Sep 25, 2017: State Energy Minister and senior Congress leader  DK Shivakumar accompanied by his family members visited the  Kukke Subrahmanya Temple on September 24, Sunday. Unlike the minister’s earlier visits, this time, the minister  visited the shrine and offered different sevas just like any other ordinary devotee by standing in the queue. The minister was also seen casually interacting with people and also willingly posed for photographs with his party workers and  followers.

Shivakumar along with his wife, son and two daughters offered  Panchamrutha Abhisheka, Naga Pratishte, Maha Pooja and Tulabhara Seve.  He also had food at the shrine and  visited the Samputa Narasimha  Mutt and sought blessings of Sri Vidya Prasanna Theertha Swamiji.

Later  the minister refused to answer any question  from media men on the recent IT raids but  said the Congress would come to power in the state again.

Nityananda Mundody, President of the Temple Committee, Ravindra HM, Chief Executive Officer, Mithun Rai, District Youth Congress President and others were present.
