Mescom Negligence: Rider injured after hitting into a broken electric pole lying on the road

Mangaluru: June 8, 2015: Call it negligence or irresponsibility of Mescom. A rider was injured after hitting into an electric pole which was lying on the road. The rider, not noticing the pole collided and was seriously injured. The pole was lying near Maryhill on Airport road.

 

 

As per the eyetnesses, the rider hit the pole while he was trying to overtake another vehicle. The impact of the accident was such that the rider fell off his bike.  The rider was injured and the front side of the bike got completely damaged. The visibility was also poor due to heavy monsoon clouds.

 

Such negligence by Mescom department is to be condemned. Because road is not the place where poles can be Kept.
