Meritorious service earns prestigious President’s Medal for DySP Venkatesh Prasanna

Mangaluru, Jan 26, 2015: DySP Dr H.N. Venkatesh Prasanna has been chosen for the prestigious President’s Medal for meritorious service. He is presently posted as DySP in the office of the IGP.

DySP Prasanna considered as a highly efficient police officer has  the credit of successfully  cracking the mystery behind several criminal cases while serving in the City Crime Branch and the District Crime Intelligence Bureau.

He had also proved a nightmare to underworld  and anti-social element through his stern action.A thesis on the  history of the Police Department had  also entitled him to a doctorate degree.

Even Pratap Reddy, former IGP of Western Range, presently serving as IGP of Internal Security Division in Bengaluru has been selected for the President’s Medal.
