Mega Solar Credit Camp in Mangaluru

Mangaluru Feb 12, 2016: DC A.B.Ibrahim said that, Mega solar credit camp for financing Roof-Tops will be organized at Town hall, Mangalore on 17th Feb 2016. The programme has been initiated by the district administration, said during the press meet held at his office today.

Speaking to the press he said that, this camp will be the first in the series of initiative planned to encourage citizens to switch to use of renewable energy sources with a special focus on grid-connected solar roof top systems.

This programme will bring all financing banks in Mangalore taluk, MESCOM and MNRE/MESCOM approved agencies dealing in supplyinstallation of solar roof top systems and 38 suppliers has been approved, said A.B.Ibrahim.

He also said Banks will be providing provisional sanction letters on the spot to eligible customers who visit the credit camp and this camp will the golden opportunity to avail credit for installation of roof-top solar system and make Mangalore a solar city.

7.20 rupeesunit will be given without subsidy and 9.50 rupeesunit for those who subsidized from the MESCOM said A.B.Ibrahim
