Medicines delivered within an hour of PV-DH phone-in programme

Mangaluru, April 25, 2020:   A parcel containing medicines lying undelivered in a post office from a week was delivered to an elderly patient on Friday after Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police (SP) B M Laxmi Prasad’s attention was drawn to the issue.

 

During the Prajavani-Deccan Herald phone-in programme on Friday, Dr Arun Prasad informed the SP that a parcel containing medicines to his elderly patient sent a week ago was not delivered yet.

The SP after noting down Dr Arun’s number promised to call him back. An hour later, the parcel with medicines lying in Mudipu post office was delivered to the house of the elderly man.
