Media must stop being judgemental in Kavya case: HDK

Udupi, July 30, 2017: State JD(S) President and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy  has come down heavily on the media for making its own judgments regarding the case of suspicious death of Alva’s  student Kavya.

Speaking to reporters here on July 30, Sunday, he  said a thorough investigation into the case would bring to  light the facts.

Kumaraswamy through his words gave  a clear hint that he was strongly backing the Alva’s institutions and said it was not proper to bring disrepute to a large institution which was built with great effort by Dr Mohan Alva. "The institution has offered free education to thousands, " said Kumaraswamy.

Kumaraswamy also took a dig at both the BJP and Congress by alleging that the two parties were trying to create rift among the people. On the road naming controversy, Kumaraswamy said the government has to take a clear stand on the issue.
