Many DK Congressmen to join BJP during Parivartan Yatra : Sanjeeva Matandoor

Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2017 : Several Congress leaders and workers from the district will be joining the  BJP when the party’s Parivartan  Yatra  arrives  here, said District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor.

Addressing press persons here on November 7, Tuesday he however refused to reveal the names of the Congressmen who are supposed to join the BJP. On insistence, he only said the media was aware as to who are the leaders.

 He said the Yatra led by State BJP Chief BS Yeddyurappa will  arrive in  the district via Gundya.  As no public meet could be held that day and on November 9 in view of Tipu Jayanthi, the yatra will proceed from the Chennakeshava Shrine in Sullia on November 10 and then travel to Puttur, Belthangady, Bantwal and arrive in Mangaluru on November 10. A programme will be held at Nehru Maidan at 5 pm, he informed.

Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Umesh Kotian, Satyajit Suratkal and others were present.
