Manjunath Friends Circle celebrates Diwali with special kids

Mangalore, Oct 26, 2011 : Manjunath Friends Circle of Kadri Hills celebrated Diwali with the special kids of Sanidhya Residential School on Monday evening. They distributed sweets among the kids and burst crackers.

Nagaraj Shetty, the chairman of the Coastal Development Authority, inaugurated the event and said that civil society ought to take care of special kids. Appreciating the Manjunath Friends Circle for celebrating Diwali with the special kids, he said that the tradition should continue.

Speaking on the occasion, Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner Harish Kumar expressed his appreciation for Sanidhya.

Mahabala Marla, the president of the school, presided.

Youth Congress leaders Vishwas Das and Praveen Alva also participated in the event.
