Manjeshwar man killed in car mishap near Konaje, another critical

Mangaluru, May 05, 2017 : The driver of a Maruti Swift car was killed after  he lost control over the vehicle which veered off the road, rammed against a tree and landed in a gorge near Boliyar Padil in Konaje police station limits on May 5, Friday. Another person in the car has sustained serious injuries.

The mishap occurred during the wee hours. The deceased is Yusuf (38), son of Aboobakker of Manjeshwar. Yusuf along with  another youth named Khaleel was returning to Manjeshwar after attending a wedding at Sakaleshpur.  When  the car reached Boliyar Padil, Yusuf all of a sudden lost control resulting in the accident. He was running a business at Manjeshwar and has left behind his wife and three children.

The injured Khaleel has been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

A case has been registered by Konaje police.
