Manipal student killed in Bike-Tractor collision

Manipal, Jan 21, 2017: Bike-tractor collision claims life of Manipal student in Manipal University campus on January 20, Friday evening.

 

Christopher Jonathan (20), son of Johnson and Monica Machado couple from Dubai. Christopher was a student of Manipal School of Communications basically from Shirva.

Reports say that visibility was low due to fogging inside the Campus; their bike collided with the tractor. Due to the impact of the collision Christopher sustained serious injuries and breathed his last on the spot. Ashwin who was a pillion escape with minor injurious is being treated at Manipal hospital.

Investigations are underway at Manipal police station.
