Manipal police detain Nigerian national for overstaying visa

Udupi, Oct 16, 2017 : Nigerian National detained in Manipal on October 16, Monday for overstaying visa.The arrested is Raji Raqeeb Babatunde(26) a Nigerian , Ex-student of  Master of Occupational therapy at Manipal School of allied sciences.

On credible information about Raji ,Manipal  police under the  instructions of Sanjeev Patel swung into action . He had arrived the country on August 24,  2011. Though his visa has expired he continued staying without approval at Foreigners Registration Office.
 

He was taken to custody by Manipal police on charges of violating visa and passport rules and regulations till October 31 . Investigations are in progress.
