Mangaluru peaceful: CM to visit today

Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2019: Situation in Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate limits where curfew has been imposed since Thursday’s violent protest, is  peaceful. Meanwhile, police are maintaining a strict vigil to ensure there is no untoward incident.

 

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and Home Minister  Basavaraj Bommai are scheduled to visit the city today to take stock of the security situation. The CM will be holding a meeting of  top officials at Circuit House in the afternoon.

Curfew was relaxed for two hours from 6 am to 8 am on Saturday to facilitate people to purchase essential items. Meanwhile, mobile internet remains suspended even today.
