Mangaluru : Youth arrested for stealing batteries from parked lorries

Mangaluru, Sep 17, 2018: Kankanady Police have arrested a youth named Azaruddin (26) from Vamanjoor on the charges of  stealing batteries and   other materials from parked lorries in Vamanjoor area. It is learnt, he was wanted in connection with theft of goods worth Rs 4.50 lakhs.

 

 

Police are on the look out for another accused named Arif who is absconding.

Police have seized a battery worth Rs 40,000 as well as a Scorpio vehicle  used by the accused to transport the sold goods. The value of the seized goods has been estimated at Rs 4.5 lakhs.
