Mangaluru : Young man who jumped off Netravathi bridge found in Shivamogga !

Mangaluru, June 10, 2020:   A young man who was thought to have committed suicide by jumping off the Netravathi bridge on Tuesday night  has been reportedly traced in Shivamogga.

 

Earlier, it was reported that Praveen Saphalya (28) of Kurnadu near Mudipu had parked his bike near the bridge and had jumped into the river in an apparent attempt to end life.

The police, fire service personnel and expert divers were at work since last night in an effort to trace the body of the man without knowing that he in fact had  left for Shivamogga.

It is learnt, the young man who was in financial distress and debt-ridden had taken the escape route after parking his bike near the bridge.

Ullal police are investigating the case.
