Mangaluru: Young housemaid ends life

Mangaluru, Feb 14, 2019: A 17 year old girl who was working as a housemaid at the house of  Mohammad at Poomannu in Talapady  has reportedly committed suicide on February 13.

The deceased girl is Reshma.  It is learnt she reportedly ended her life by hanging from the ceiling fan when the family members of   Mohammad’s cousin Hamid were away on Wednesday. Mohammad  is an entrepreneur and is residing abroad.

Meanwhile, locals have expressed suspicion regarding the death of the girl. The post mortem report is awaited.

It is learnt the girl is from Delhi and was working in the house since a year.
